Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Greek Freak of the Milwaukee Bucks and captain of the East Conference, said that he will play for Greece in the upcoming FIBA World Cup during a press conference in Charlotte ahead of Sunday’s All-Star Game, according to greekreporter.com
“Yeah, I’ll be there [at the World Cup]. Let’s be healthy first. Knock on wood, [I’ll] stay healthy!,” noted Antetokounmpo
Greece has already secured their qualification for the 32-team tournament, which kicks off in China on August 31.
