The University of Ioannina, in collaboration with the Instituto de Letras of Rio De Janeiro University, organizes the 5th International Summer University “Greek Language, Culture and Mass Media” which will take place on July 8 to 15, 2019 in Syros, int.ert.gr reports.
Following four successful years, the 5th International Summer University focuses on the language of the “other”, the morality of otherness.
Some of the themes are Language and Difference, the politics of otherness, the construction of the other through language, the dichotomous and racist speech in contemporary media, teaching our mother tongue to others, Language and communicative approach.
The 5th International Summer University is organized under the auspices of the President of the Republic.
