British writer Victoria Hislop will be in Thessaloniki tomorrow, Friday, November 1, to present her new novel “Those Who Are Loved”, int.ert.gr reports.
Best known for her historical novel “The Island,” set on Spinalonga off the Greek island of Crete, Hislop’s new novel is set against the backdrop of the German occupation of Greece, the subsequent civil war and a military dictatorship, all of which have left deep scars.
The British author will be at the Public Bookstore (24 Tsimiski street), from 19:00 to sign copies of the book and talk to fans.
Admission is free of charge.
