International Payments Provider Planet celebrated 10 years in Greece with a special event dedicated to merchants.
The President of the Hellenic Business & Retail Association Antonis Makris, along with many merchants and market executives, attended the celebration at the company’s office.
Attendees had the chance to meet Planet’s staff and its partners to discuss important elements of Tax-Free and DCC, market and tourism in Greece, as well as the new techniques of attracting tourists through the new Planet training program with merchants.
Planet also presented an overview of the company’s success over the last 10 years in Greece along with its Digital Tax-Free solution which is currently in operation in Finland, UAE and Turkey.
Planet Payment Greece Country Manager Stavros Gesouras said: “Planet not only has a renewed brand name, but it has also added a lot more to its vision and how it works in both Tax-Free and Payments. We operate already in 59 countries after the recent opening in Turkey and we have gathered the expertise, professionalism, and knowledge of our excellent partners from all countries, in order to always give them back the tools to better serve customers and tourists.”
