Attica region governor Giorgos Patoulis has switched on the lights on the regional authority’s Christmas Tree at Pedion tou Areos park in Athens, ANA reports. The ceremony took place on Monday evening, at Santa’s Christmas village set up in the same location, where a series of events will take place that will be broadcast via youtube on the Attica region’s channel. The areas have been cordoned off due to the pandemic and all protection measures are applied.
