Panathenaic Stadium and Arch of Hadrian in Athens light up green for St. Patrick’s Day

The Panathenaic Stadium and the Arch of Hadrian in Athens were illuminated in green on Monday evening, greekcitytimes.com reports.

St. Patrick’s Day, which is also known as the ‘Feast of Saint Patrick’, is an Irish cultural and religious celebration organized on March 17.

The Embassy of Ireland in Athens thanked the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Culture, and the Civil Aviation Authority, for “this gesture of friendship and solidarity”.
