An event that launched the new lighting system of the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens was held on Monday evening in the presence of President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, ANA reports.
The Greek national anthem and the Olympic anthem celebrated the occasion shortly after 20:00, attended also by Hellenic Olympic Committee President and member of the International Olympic Committee Spiros Kapralos.
