SNFCC organising exhibition of 46 Takis sculptures in its public spaces in Athens

From June 23 to November 7, 2021, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), in collaboration with the Takis Foundation – Research Center for Art and Science (KETE), will present a large exhibition of emblematic sculptures by the internationally renowned sculptor Takis (Panagiotis Vasilakis, 1925-2019), ANA reports.

The exhibition entitled “Takis: World on the Move” will be presented using a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It will feature 46 representative works by the leading Greek artist placed in SNFCC public spaces, thus providing a comprehensive introduction to his work for the new generation, but also a new view of the importance of his work for those who already know it.
