A Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry event held on Wednesday to promote and strengthen Greece’s ties with its partners in Latin America and the Caribbean was addressed by Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Fragogiannis representing Minister Nikos Dendias, ANA reports.
Dendias was forced to forego the event for precautionary reasons after contact with a confirmed Covid case, although he is fully vaccinated.
Fragogiannis said the first-ever event would rekindle ongoing political talks over collaboration with the region’s countries, and he named as sectors of interest tourism, energy, infrastructure, digital economy, and collaboration of research institutions and universities.
