A special meeting on the role of education against misinformation and fake news is organized on Thursday, at 16:00, by the Parliamentary Committee on Educational Affairs following an initiative by the chairman of the Committee Vassilis Digalakis, ANA reports.
Digalaki said that the purpose of the meeting is to highlight the importance of digital literacy and media education, which, according to the report of the independent group of experts of the European Commission, is a key axis for tackling misinformation and fake news.
