Babylon AHEPA Chapter 416 which has its base at the St. Nicholas West Babylon Community, located in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY supported the Greek School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) fundraiser Breakfast with Santa. This fundraiser was held on December 19 in the Church Community Hall after Divine Liturgy.
For the second time this year, Babylon Chapter 416 has sponsored the church community Greek School by donating a portion of the proceeds to help with the school’s administrative costs. This event was a huge success due to the talent and support of the AHEPA’s team of talented members, who prepared the delicious breakfast Past Supreme Governor and Chapter President Teddy Manolios, alongside Brother Peter Stergakos, Brother Silvio Capoccia, and Brother Salvatore Valensisi. PTO President Irene Byrd and members Argyro Boyle, Samantha Paloubis, and Nina Kassimis organized, coordinated, and served the food at this wonderful event.
The event was a joyous time for all and oh, what fun the children had! Brother Chris Manolios was Santa Claus, handing out gifts to the children, and Economos Rev. Fr. Demetrios Kazakis assisted as Santa’s Elf Helper.
AHEPA looks forward to continuing its work in supporting the Hellenic Education of the St. Nicholas Church Community children. If you would like to join Babylon AHEPA Chapter 416 to help in this important effort, please contact Chapter President Ted Manolios via email: tmanolios@gmail.com and Chapter Treasurer Chris Manolios: chris.manolios@gmail.com.
