Further Greece-France defence collaboration explored in Thessaloniki

The Greek National Defence Ministry’s pavilion at the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) that is underway (Sep.10-18) in the northern Greek city, was visited on Monday by the French Consul General in Thessaloniki Sandrine Mouchet, ANA reports.

Referring to the recent strategic defense agreement signed by Greece and France, which includes Greece’s procurement of Rafales and of Belhara frigates, she thanked “ our Greek friends for choosing French technology,” and that the Greek ministry’s display at TIF 2022 “ reflects our excellent bilateral relations.”

At a relevant discussion panel held at the Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum on the day, titled ‘Greece-France: Bilateral Industrial Cooperation’, TIF-Helexpo CEO Kyriakos Pozrikidis noted his hope that France is TIF’s country of honor soon enough.
