The 4th Pan-Cretan Career Day, organized by the Pan-Cretan Association of Hotel Managers on January 22, 2025, at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel in Heraklion, was completed with complete success.
The event attracted a large number of participants, both from the representatives of the hotel industry and from the employees, with a particularly strong presence of students and students from tourism schools.
The president of the Pan-Cretan Association, George Sfakianakis, and the secretary, Michalis Gasparis, personally welcomed the students, providing them with useful information and guidance for their integration into the tourism and hospitality sector. Their speeches focused on issues such as supporting students in the tourism sector, the importance of education and training, and tourism awareness for their integration into the labor market, as well as the need for cooperation between hotels and educational institutions.
The Pancretan Association of Hotel Managers, as it points out, reaffirmed once again its commitment to supporting both those already working in the tourism sector and young people taking their first steps, recognizing the importance of education and guidance for the creation of a dynamic and specialized generation of professionals in the hospitality sector.
The event was honored with his presence by the Governor of Crete, Stavros Arnaoutakis. Mr. Arnaoutakis expressed his support for actions that enhance employment and professional development in the tourism sector and the commitment of the Region of Crete to strengthen initiatives that promote the development of tourism and hospitality on the island.
Media interest was equally significant, with representatives of the press covering the event both during and after its completion. As the contribution of the press to informing the public is valuable, recognizing the importance of cooperation in promoting opportunities in the hospitality sector, the Pancretan Association of Managers warmly thanks for the help and support received.
The second day of the “Career Days” event will take place in Chania on Friday, January 24, 2024, at the Akali Hotel, from 10:00 to 16:00 and will offer unique opportunities to those wishing to work in the hotel sector.
