The Region of Central Macedonia is launching an Open Electronic Tender to select a contractor for implementing an awareness, training, and communication campaign in the audiovisual sector. The tender involves organizing a three-day event in the regional units of Kilkis, Pella, and Serres during autumn 2025, with a total budget of €10,000.
Objectives of the Initiative
This initiative aims to:
Showcase the natural wealth of Central Macedonia as an attractive cinematic setting
Promote sustainable audiovisual production
Create a film-friendly environment for film and television projects
The event primarily targets audiovisual professionals but is also open to broader audiences—residents, business owners, organizations, and environmental networks in the region. The goal is to:
Strengthen local cultural identity
Encourage location scouting
Foster collaborations linking creativity with sustainability
Indicative Event Program
Day 1: Thessaloniki – Kilkis
Participants will be transported from Thessaloniki to Kilkis. The day will feature presentations focused on:
Institutional frameworks
Location scouting opportunities
Green filming practices
The day concludes with a dinner hosted by local organizations.
Day 2: Pella – Kilkis
The morning includes a guided tour of a natural site in Pella. Presentations will then cover:
Best practices in sustainable film production
Collaborations with environmental organizations
Use of natural landscapes for film shoots
Meals and overnight accommodation in Kilkis are provided.
Day 3: Serres – Kilkis
With a similar structure, the final day features:
A tour in Serres
Presentations
A light lunch and a dinner with local products
Participants will return to Kilkis for departure the following day.
