The countdown to the anniversary international half marathon of Crete, which will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in Arkalochori, Heraklion, has begun, with this year’s event hiding a special surprise for all runners.
All athletes who finish in any of the distances will receive a unique anniversary medal, a symbol of their participation in this great athletic celebration.
At the same time, the well-known “shoe” – the trademark of the event – will be offered this year exclusively to participants who choose the Gold participation package, upon receipt of their package and not at the finish line.
The Crete International Half Marathon is not just a race; it is a holistic sports and cultural experience, which brings together runners from all over Greece and abroad every year. Registrations are already open, with the Gold package – the richest and most sought-after in Greece – expected to sell out very soon.
