The platform for the declaration of participation of interested parties in the upcoming extroversion action “Rebrain Greece” of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, which will take place on Sunday, December 7 in New York, has been opened.
Interested parties can submit a declaration of participation at the electronic address https://platform.rebraingreece.gr.
The purpose of “Rebrain Greece” and the events held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security is to connect highly qualified Greek professionals who live and work abroad with leading companies operating in Greece and seeking specialized executives for key positions.
“The event in New York is another important step in our effort to highlight, to our compatriots living abroad, great professional opportunities in our country. Leading companies operating in Greece are looking for valuable human resources from abroad in a wide range of activities, such as the medical sector, the construction sector, the financial and insurance sector, the legal sector, the shipping sector, the pharmaceutical industry, the IT sector, telecommunications, technology, energy, tourism, etc. The positions offered demonstrate that Greece is today a place with real potential for development and professional advancement,” said Minister of Labor and Social Security Niki Kerameus.
This is the 5th consecutive extroversion action carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security abroad.
In the previous four events abroad (Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, London, Stuttgart) over 120 business delegations and over 5,000 interested Greeks abroad participated.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about professional prospects in the Greek labor market, conduct in-person interviews, and consider the possibility of returning and contributing to the country’s productive fabric.
In detail, the companies participating so far: AANG GROUP, Aegean Airlines, AKTOR, ALPHA BANK, AlterEgo Media AE, ANT1 Group, Athens Medical Group, AVAX, Capital Carriers Clean Energy Corp, CENERGY Holdings, COSMOTE, Credia Bank, PPC, Deloitte, Hellenic Gold Sole Proprietorship S.A., ELVALHALCOR, Eunice Energy Group, Eurobank, EY, HEDNO, Hellenic Healthcare Group, HELLENIQ ENERGY, LAMDA DEVELOPMENT, MotorOil, National Bank of Greece, Henri Dunant Hospital – member of the Imithea Group, IASO Group, Papastratos, Piraeus Bank, Theon Group, TITAN.
It is recalled that according to official Eurostat data, between 2010 and 2023, 659,547 Greek citizens left the country and 422,688 have returned, that is, we have a 64% reversal of the crisis’s brain drain.
