A B2B Tourism Networking Event was held in Istanbul with great success, aiming to promote and promote Greek destinations in the Turkish market.
The event was held under the auspices of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (10/10/2025) and was organized by the company Louder than Horn, in collaboration with the GNTO Foreign Service of Turkey and the Association of Travel Agents of Turkey (TURSAB).
The proceedings were welcomed by the Consul General of Greece in Istanbul, Mr. Konstantinos Koutras, the Vice President of TURSAB, Mr. Davut GÜNAYDIN and the Head of the GNTO Foreign Service of Turkey, Ms. Maria Rachmanidou (photo below).
The event was attended by representatives of the Local Government and tourism bodies, including:

Region of Central Greece

Municipality of Didymoteicho
Thessaloniki Tourism Organization
Hotel chain Acrotel Hotels & Resorts
A total of more than 140 B2B meetings were held, in a dynamic environment of exchange of know-how, development of synergies and exploration of common tourism products. The Greek delegations presented the tourism potential of their regions, emphasizing the special forms of tourism that are developing, around culture and gastronomy as well as sustainable wellness and experiential tourism.
The initiative concluded with a networking cocktail at the Sismanoglio Mansion of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul, attended by representatives of tourism organizations, institutional actors and professionals in the field, further strengthening the scope of cooperation.
During the event, eight vouchers for accommodation in selected Greek destinations were offered to Turkish participants.
Turkey is a strategically important tourist market for our country. The aim of the action was to strengthen the tourism connection between Greece and Turkey, with direct professional meetings of representatives of the tourism industry of the two countries, within the framework of the strategic extroversion policy of the Greek National Tourist Organization, which aims to promote Greece as a top holiday destination for the modern traveler.
