With great success, the AEGEAN Messinia Pro-Am 2025 took place from 19 to 23 November at Costa Navarino, bringing together 27 teams from 14 countries. Professional and amateur golfers from around the world gathered in Messinia, having the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the region and enjoy the game.
At the same time, Costa Navarino recently received new global distinctions, further establishing the destination among the top choices for golfers worldwide. At the World Golf Awards 2025, Costa Navarino won the top award “World’s Best Golf Venue” as well as “Europe‘s Best Golf Real Estate Venue 2025”, while it also holds 1st place on the “Top 100 European Resorts” list of the reputable British magazine National Club Golfer.
Participants in the AEGEAN Messinia Pro-Am —which is held under the auspices of the Confederation of Professional Golf and supported by the Hellenic Golf Federation and the PGA of Greece— had the chance to enjoy the game on three of the destination’s four golf courses: The Dunes Course, The Hills Course and the International Olympic Academy Golf Course. Each course offered different challenges, providing participants with a distinctive sporting experience, while for their accommodation they chose the newly updated The Westin Resort Costa Navarino. Beyond the competition, the event also included a programme of themed activities.
In the professional ranking of the AEGEAN Messinia Pro-Am 2025, Liam Murray (PGA Spain) emerged as the winner, while tied for second place were: Federico Elli (PGA Italy), Christos Nikopoulos (PGA Greece), Alessandro Tadini (PGA Italy) and Matyas Zapletal (PGA Czech Republic). After an exciting three-day competition, the team category was won by the team of Adam Kritikos (PGA Greece).
