The Municipality of Irakleia in Serres has launched an open electronic tender for the provision of services for the organization of cultural, sports and social events, implementing its annual plan to strengthen cultural activity and promote the areas tourism profile.
The scope of the tender áöïñÜ the full organization, coordination and implementation of all municipal events over a one-year period. This includes all necessary services to ensure the proper, safe and high-quality execution of the activities, from operational planning and administrative support to technical coverage and the management of individual expenses.
The total budget of the project amounts to 225,063.72 including VAT, covering both organizational requirements and technical costs, such as sound and lighting support, equipment, artistic participation and specialized personnel. The approach focuses on centralized management of events, aiming at better utilization of available resources and the creation of economies of scale.
According to the tender notice, the actions are part of a broader framework of the Municipalitys cultural and social policy, with a clear orientation toward strengthening local identity, supporting social cohesion and promoting the area at local and regional level. At the same time, the role of events as a tool for indirect tourism development is recognized, as they contribute to attracting visitors and boosting local economic activity.
Particular emphasis is placed on actions linked to sports and the natural environment, strengthening forms of thematic and sports tourism, especially in areas of increased environmental and tourism interest, such as Lake Kerkini. Through unified planning, the Municipality aims to create a coherent annual program of events, with consistent quality of implementation and a clear development footprint.
The contract covers the entirety of the Municipalitys cultural, sports and social activities, as well as all necessary support services, with the goal of systematic and professional event organization and the maximization of their added value for the local community and tourism. The deadline for the submission of bids is 12/01/2026.
