The 31- year- old actress turned nightclub owner, Lindsay Lohan is set to start filming a new reality show for MTV, based on behind-the-scenes footage of her nightclubs in Greece, which will also feature local Greek staff who work for her.
The show, Lindsay told New York Times, will be in the style of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” (which follows Lisa Vanderpump, who first gained fame on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” running her West Hollywood restaurant SUR ‘Sexy Unique Restaurant’). It will focus upon her life in Greece, where she has launched clubs in Athens, Mykonos and with plans to open another one on Rhodes island.
New Reality TV show to focus on Lindsay Lohan’s life in Greece
She also told NY Times “there’s a business side to my life now, but I’m not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me. Because I get to actually focus on the result of things.” Lindsay has been portrayed in the media as the wild party girl, and she hopes that the new TV project will help people understand she’s not that person anymore. “I’m a normal, nice person. A good person…I don’t have any bad intentions. And my past has to stay in the past. People have to just let go of it and stop bringing it up because… it’s gone. It’s dead. And that’s the most important thing to me” Lindsay noted.
While running a business and filming for the reality series, Lindsey is also acting. She recently filmed a British comedy series called “Sick Note” opposite Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the “Harry Potter” films and is reportedly reprising her character in Tyra Banks’ ‘Life-Size’ TV movie sequel.
