Kastoria Municipality approved the city’s tourism promotion program for 2016.
The program focuses on the establishment of Kastoria as a leading alternative four seasons destination for domestic and international visitors, by utilizing its comparative advantages and people through sustainable development policies and actions.
Ideal destination
It includes participation in tourism exhibitions, development of public relations with tour operators, selected bloggers and journalists, organizing various events, issuing promotional material, advertising in digital media, internet and social networking with the traditional advertising methods such as TV, radio, newspaper and magazines, website development and special software utilization.
Its aim is to highlight Kastoria as an ideal destination that combines various possibilities (accommodation mountain or sea, entertainment, thematic tourism options, religious, alternative, culture, sports, relaxation, gastronomy, etc.)and offers special discounts and tailored made tourism packages.
