Mykonos along with Oia and Imerovigli in Santorini are among the 11 most expensive beach destinations in Europe during August, according to a survey by French travel platform Allovoyages.fr.
The survey compared the cost of accommodation in all European resorts during August and concluded that the most expensive destination is Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza
The findings are based on the average prices of the cheapest double room available in properties with at least 3 stars at each destination.
Playa d’en Bossa, emerges as the most expensive beach destination in Europe with an average cost of overnight stay at 254 euros.
The Italian village of Positano on the Amalfi coast and Oia in Santorini, complete the top-3 of the most expensive destinations with an average cost of overnight stay at 243 and 242 euros respectively.
