Serifos continues to attract more and more visitors, recording an increase in arrivals for the fourth consecutive year, according to official port authority data published by the municipality of Serifos.
The data show that the Cyclades island maintains strong tourism momentum, with significant visitor flows from June to August.
June and July on the rise
In June 2025, 14,726 passengers disembarked in Serifos, a number that remains stable compared to June 2024 (14,698), showing that the season is starting with similar momentum. The increase in vehicles is notable, with 2,073 private vehicles arriving on the island this year compared to 2,005 last year.
In July, the increase becomes more pronounced: 25,461 passengers arrived this year, compared to 24,310 in the corresponding month of 2024, which reflects a clear increase in traffic. At the same time, there is also a large increase in vehicles (4,033 private cars compared to 3,886 last year).
Strong August
According to the data available until August 18, 2025, the island has already welcomed 19,329 passengers, while 27,926 disembarked in the entire month of August 2024. This means that, given that there are almost two weeks left until the end of the month, Serifos is heading towards a new record of arrivals.
Steady upward trend
The overall picture confirms the growing appeal of Serifos as a tourist destination, with the municipal authority noting that for the fourth consecutive year an increase in arrivals has been recorded. This trend demonstrates that the island is increasingly establishing itself on the tourist map, gaining visitors who seek authenticity, beaches and the Cycladic landscape.
