AEGEAN Airlines was named ‘Europe’s Leading Regional Airline’ for its high-quality services at the World Travel Awards 2017, which is described as the “Oscars of the Travel Industry.”
It is the third time the Greek airline has won this distinction after the public’s vote, which confirms that AEGEAN ranks high in the preferences of travellers worldwide, an announcement said.
“All of us in AEGEAN feel proud that a Greek company was acknowledged as the best among many exceptional international carriers, by passengers traveling to European and other destinations,” noted Roland Jaggi, AEGEAN director revenue management, pricing, sales and distribution.
“AEGEAN’s third distinction also promotes Greek hospitality services and tourism. It is a recognition of the efforts and dedicated services offered by our colleagues on an everyday basis to our passengers.
