Ryanair: 13 new routes from Athens and Thessaloniki during winter 2018

Ryanair announced its winter program of Athens and Thessaloniki, with 13 new routes and additional flights on 5 other routes, which will service 5.7 million passengers per year and increase traffic by 14%.

Ryanair’s program for winter 2018 includes:

Athens

6 new routes to: Aqaba (2 weekly),Catania (2 weekly), Dublin (2 weekly), Eindhoven (3 weekly), Marrakesh (2 weekly) & Palermo (2 weekly), extra flights to Bucharest (1 weekly) Thessaloniki (3 daily ) and Sofia (1 per day)

  • 25 routes total
  • 9 million passengers per year (10% increase)
  • 2,200 jobs

Thessaloniki

2 new routes to Bologna (2 / weeks) & Nuremberg (2 / (4 weekly), Hamburg (2 weekly), Paris Beauvais (2 weekly), Warsaw Mondlin (2 weekly) Extra flights to Milan Bergamo (3 weekly) & Brussels (3 weekly)

  • 7 million passengers per year 
  • 1,300 jobs

Greece’s passengers and visitors can already book trips until March 2019, with even lower fares and more travel privileges as part of the Always Getting Better program for 2018.

Ryanair’s David O’Brien said in Athens: “Ryanair is happy to announce the reinforced Winter Program of Athens and Thessaloniki for 2018, which includes 13 new destinations and additional flights to 5 others, thus accommodating 5.7 million passengers annually, recording a growth of 14%. Greece’s passengers and visitors can now make reservations for the 2018 Winter Program, as fares will continue to decline and there will be no better time to book a Ryanair flight. To celebrate the announcement of the new Athens Winter Program for 2018, we release a new offer at 16.99 € for travel until May, available until midnight on Friday (March 9th).
