SKY Express carried out its first flight from Athens to Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, with the welcoming team including airport officials and Greek Ambassador to Armenia Christos Sofianopoulos, ANA reports.
The direct flight schedule uses state-of-the-art Airbus 320neo and Airbus321neo airplanes and includes flights between Athens and Yerevan three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays).
Armenia International Airports CJSC General Manager Sergey Avetisyan congratulated SKY Express and expressed hope that the flights signal the start of a long-term collaboration and the inclusion of more destinations.
