Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are adding additional capacity to Greece and Turkey in the summer of 2025.
In particular, new flights and holiday packages are being added from Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle airports, providing “thousands” of extra seats.
Most flights will operate to Antalya, Kos, Rhodes, and Heraklion in Crete between May and September.
This comes just days after Jet2 Group revealed that in 2025 it will have the largest flight and holiday program in its history to Greece, with a total of three million airline seats, three new destinations this year, eight new routes, and more than 125 new hotels for sale.
It is recalled that due to continued demand, the two companies have introduced Poros, Aegina, and Leros as new destinations in addition to operating eight new routes from Bournemouth, Bristol, and Luton airports.
In detail, the additional flights, which are now being added:
- Glasgow Airport – additional routes every Monday to Antalya from May 26 to July 14, with up to seven flights per week.
- Manchester Airport – additional flights every Thursday to Antalya from 17 July to 28 August to provide up to 18 weekly flights, plus additional flights every Tuesday to Kos from 8 July to 23 September and new flights every Friday to Rhodes between 18 July and 29 August.
- Newcastle Airport – additional flights every Thursday to Antalya from 24 July to 28 August, now taking the number of flights to nine weekly. Also, an additional flight every Sunday to Heraklion between 20 July and 19 October, providing the only weekend flight between Newcastle and Crete this summer.
Demand for Greece and Turkey continues
Jet2 Group CEO Steve Heapy said customers and independent travel agents have told management that flights and holiday packages to Greece and Turkey are in high demand for the summer of 2025.
