SKY Express: Free tickets for children and teachers on Santorini-Athens flights 

SKY Express, responding to the extraordinary conditions prevailing in Santorini and the other islands affected by the ongoing earthquakes, is making free tickets available for children and teachers.

The company is offering free tickets for children up to 12 years old for all flights from Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9, 2025, which will take place from the island of Santorini to Athens.

In addition, SKY Express offers free tickets for all teachers (permanent and substitute) serving on the specific islands (Santorini, Ios, Amorgos, and Anafi) who wish to travel from Santorini to Athens on the flights that will take place from Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9, 2025.

It is noted that SKY Express has added 5 additional flights to and from the island of Santorini since yesterday, February 3, 2025, in order to facilitate the travel of citizens. On Monday, February 3, the company operated a total of 8 flights from Santorini to Athens (6 regular and 2 non-scheduled) and today, Tuesday, February 4, it is going to operate 8 flights for which tickets are already sold out. The average fare for the company’s flights is 52.41 euros (including VAT and airport taxes of 24.41 euros) and includes hand luggage & personal items.

The company remains in constant communication with the relevant authorities in order to serve local communities immediately. If there is an additional need for travel, new emergency flights will be added.
