Etihad will use the new Airbus A321neo LR three-level aircraft on the Abu Dhabi – Athens route from 2026.
The company will offer the connection to Athens with this aircraft from January 1, 2026, with a frequency of once a week, while the frequency will increase to 2 weekly flights from February 1.
The new aircraft is expected to make its debut in Phuket in August 2025, however, the company may make changes to its flight schedule.
According to current data, the aircraft will be used, from the second half of 2025 onwards, on 12 routes from Abu Dhabi to Algiers, Athens, Chennai, Chiang Mai, Copenhagen, D?sseldorf, Kolkata, Krabi, Milan, Phnom Penh, Phuket and Tunisia.
