AEGEAN | Order for 8 more Airbus A321neo aircraft

AEGEAN announced the order for 8 more new A321 neo aircraft, extending again, for the third time, the initial agreement it has concluded with Airbus (since 2018 with first delivery in 2020) for aircraft of the A320/321 neo family.

It is noted that of the 58 total Airbus 320/321 neo aircraft that will join the AEGEAN fleet, 37 will be the largest version of the family, namely the A321neo, with 4 of them being Airbus A321neo LR (Long Range) with significantly longer range and a new specially designed passenger cabin, to serve new destinations with flight durations of up to 7.5 hours.

To date, 34 aircraft of the Airbus 320/321 neo family have already been received and with the new order, another 24 aircraft will be received. For 2025, AEGEAN has already received one (1) A320 neo aircraft and plans to receive another four (4) new aircraft of the A320 neo family.

  • AEGEAN carried 1.9 million passengers in the first two months of 2025, recording a 9% increase in passenger traffic. In the two months, international passenger traffic increased by 13%. In 2025, the company will offer 1.8 million more seats, exceeding 21.5 million in total.
