A 5% and 11% increase was recorded in international arrivals and domestic arrivals, respectively, at Heraklion Airport in June 2025 compared to the corresponding month of 2024.
International arrivals amounted to 624,610, 29,021 more than in June last year, while domestic arrivals amounted to 84,777, an increase of 8,284 compared to the corresponding month last year.
Therefore, international arrivals at “Nikos Kazantzakis” for the first half of 2025 amounted to 1.36 million and domestic arrivals for the same period to 445,279.
The largest number of arrivals in June came from Germany (178,910) and the United Kingdom (110,369), followed by Greece (83,845), France (57,029), Poland (45,990), the Netherlands (28,218), Italy (25,106), Romania (24,125), the Czech Republic (23,234), Austria (21,591), Switzerland (18,615), Belgium (16,918) and Moldova (10,319).
