The partnership, effective from 14 July 2025, builds on the strong performance of the existing partnership between the two carriers and significantly expands the range of Etihad’s connections to the Greek islands and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.
Furthermore, it complements Etihad’s daily connection to Athens, expanding connectivity through it, and transforming the Greek capital into a strategic hub for island travel.
As part of this, Etihad will place its code on flights operated by SKY express beyond Athens, providing easy access to island and non-island destinations in our country such as Crete, Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Kos, Corfu, Paros and Thessaloniki.
In collaboration with Etihad, we are committed to “making Greece a sought-after destination, all year round, for visitors from all over the world”, points out SKY express Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Gerasimos Skaltsas.
The codeshare agreement allows customers to book connecting flights with simplified check-in procedures and automatic baggage transfers to their final destination. Customers can book the enhanced Greek network via etihad.com, the Etihad app or travel agents.
SKY express serves the largest network of Greek destinations, with 33 points throughout the country, while its international destinations amount to 26.
