British Airways will make 850,000 seats available to 14 Greek destinations in 2025, maintaining daily flights to Athens and increasing routes to Thessaloniki by 30%, substantially strengthening the country’s air connectivity.
As highlighted in a relevant post, at the offices of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Secretary General Andreas Nicholas Fiorentinos met with executives of the airline, with the aim of continuing and further strengthening the strategic cooperation. Through a co-advertising program, the partnership aims to boost demand during the 2025 winter season and promote Greek destinations in the first months of 2026.
Mr. Fiorentinos emphasized that strengthening air connectivity and the strategic promotion of Greece in collaboration with international partners remain key to the development of Greek tourism 12 months a year, promoting the country as a top destination all year round.
