Today, at the offices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the Secretary General Mr. Andreas Fiorentinos met with executives of British Airways with the aim of continuing and further strengthening our already successful cooperation.
The continuation of the cooperation through a co-advertising program aims to strengthen demand during the winter season of 2025, to promote Greek destinations in the first months of 2026, but also to the continuous presence of Greece among the international public, through a comprehensive marketing program.
British Airways is offering a total of 850,000 seats to 14 Greek destinations by 2025, investing in maintaining daily, year-round flights to Athens, but also in increasing routes such as to Thessaloniki (+30% capacity).
According to the Greek National Tourism Organization, strengthening air connectivity and the strategic promotion of Greece in collaboration with international partners remain central axes for the further development of Greek tourism 12 months a year.
