Passenger traffic at Athens Airport during September 2025 amounted to 3.48 million, up 5.4% compared to 2024, according to AIA data.
Both domestic and international passenger traffic increased, exceeding 2024 levels by 2.6% and 6.6% respectively.
Overall, during the first nine months of the year, airport traffic reached 26.19 million passengers, recording an increase of 6.7%.

Number of flights
The number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 219,297, recording an increase of 5.6% compared to 2024. Domestic flights showed an increase of 1.0%, while international flights recorded an increase of 8.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
