The Greek airline Sky express is expanding its presence in Europe, launching two new routes from Athens to Berlin and Madrid.
The Athens – Berlin route recently began with four weekly flights, every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, which are operated with Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft.
This is an addition to the existing connections with Munich, Frankfurt and D?sseldorf, while Hamburg will soon be included in the airline’s schedules, indicative of SKY express’s emphasis on the German market.
At the same time, the new Athens – Madrid connection marks the start of the airline’s operation at Adolfo Su?rez Madrid-Barajas airport in Spain. The flights will be operated with a 186-seat Airbus A320neo aircraft. The route offers five weekly connections, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
An event was held at the Spanish airport to launch the flights, where passengers were welcomed in a festive atmosphere.
With these additions, Sky Express now serves 27 international destinations, as part of its strategy to strengthen Greece’s connectivity with major European capitals.
By the end of 2025, new routes will be added from Athens to Lisbon, Madrid, Hamburg, Lyon and Tel Aviv.
