Goldair: Steady Growth, New Steps in Hospitality, and Strategic International Focus in 2025

The year 2025 proved to be one of steady growth and significant strategic decisions for the Goldair Group, which continues to strengthen its position in tourism, transportation, and logistics, despite intense international challenges. With investments in infrastructure, new equipment, human resources, and new partnerships, the Group is shaping a stronger and more outward-looking business footprint, laying the foundations for dynamic growth in the coming years.

Dynamic Debut in Hospitality – Mykonos Flow and Next Steps

A major milestone for Goldair this year was its entry into the hospitality sector. Sunrise Properties, a subsidiary of Goldair S.A., operated Mykonos Flow in Super Paradise, Mykonos, for the first time, marking the company’s expansion into a new and highly competitive field. The hotel’s inaugural season was successful, confirming the Group’s strategic choice to invest in high-value tourist destinations.

Following this entry, Sunrise Properties is exploring new opportunities in Greece’s hotel sector, seeking investments in mature tourist destinations capable of supporting high-standard projects. At the same time, it is planning to expand into the residential sector, developing premium properties to meet the demand for modern, high-aesthetic projects.

Goldair S.A.: 70 Years of Leadership and New International Partnership

Goldair S.A. marked 70 years of continuous operation in airline representation this year. Maintaining steady growth and its leading position, the company strengthened its portfolio with a key addition: a partnership with IndiGo, which from January 2026 will provide direct flights between Greece and India. This is a significant move opening a major new market for Greek tourism and air transport.

Travellair: Strong Growth and Strengthened Corporate Travel

Travellair continued its upward trajectory, expanding its corporate client base and enhancing its specialization in VIP and corporate travel services. With a focus on quality and exclusive airport services, the company is increasingly consolidating its role in the premium travel market.

Goldair Handling: Strong Investment Program

With increased traffic at Greek airports, Goldair Handling successfully met demand through timely operational planning and staff reinforcement, including personnel from abroad. Flights handled increased by 6% compared to 2024, while the cargo sector saw a spectacular 29% rise, boosted by e-commerce.

The company also made significant international strides: expansion in the Balkans was strengthened through a new strategic partnership with Ryanair in Bulgaria, doubling its operations in Sofia, while in Serbia, at Belgrade Airport, it launched new collaborations with DHL and Turkish Airlines. In Cyprus and India, Goldair Handling maintained market share, and in Switzerland, following an international tender, it secured one of four ground handling licenses at Zurich Airport, penetrating the Western/Central European market and enhancing its international reputation.

The investment plan continued with new fleets of modern buses and electric equipment totaling €7 million, as well as upgrades to seven VIP lounges in Greece, aimed at continuously improving the travel experience.

Goldair Cargo: New 24,000 m² Logistics Hub and €20+ Million Investment

Despite uncertainty in international markets, Goldair Cargo maintained an upward trajectory and is proceeding with its largest investment in the last decade. Construction is starting on a state-of-the-art 24,000 m² logistics center in Aspropyrgos, on a 50,000 m² plot, with a budget exceeding €20 million and completion targeted for 2027.

The project will include temperature-controlled chambers, enhancing the handling of high-demand cargo. Simultaneously, the Group strengthened its international presence by participating in the Transport Logistic 2025 exhibition in Munich.

Thriasio Freight Center: Year of Major Progress

2025 was a pivotal year for the Thriasio Freight Center, the largest logistics hub in Southeastern Europe. The project finalized its remaining permits, completed an agreement with the US DFC and Piraeus Bank for a €300 million bond loan, and completed the process of changing the contractor.

Construction will begin in 2026, with completion in four years and gradual warehouse delivery after 18 months. As part of the “Vertical Corridor,” Thriasio gains new commercial capabilities and emerges as a central pillar of the Greek supply chain.
