SKY express is further strengthening Greeces connectivity with the Balkans by adding a new direct route, HeraklionTirana. Flights will operate twice weekly, every Tuesday and Saturday, year-round, using modern ATR 72-600 aircraft, ideal for regional connections and with an average age of just 2.8 years.
The airline already successfully serves the AthensTirana route, while the new flight from Heraklion expands travel options and enhances access for the local community of Heraklion to new travel and business opportunities. At the same time, it promotes cultural and economic relations between Greece and Albania. With this new connection, SKY express confirms its strategic role as an airline that steadily connects more and more regions of Greece with key destinations in Europe and worldwide, upgrading the countrys connectivity while also strengthening the tourism product and the economy.
