AJet launches direct flights from Turkey to Tirana

The Turkish low-cost airline AJet is expanding its network in the Balkans, announcing the launch of direct flights to Tirana from Istanbul and Ankara.

According to the company’s announcement, flights from Istanbul will begin on March 2, 2026, with five flights per week, while flights from Ankara will start on March 5, 2026, with two weekly routes.

Flights from Istanbul will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, while flights from Ankara will operate on Thursday and Saturday. Ticket prices start at $35, according to AJet.

The company highlights March as an ideal time to visit Tirana, noting that the city offers calmer and more enjoyable experiences as spring approaches. “The city comes alive with open spaces, central squares, and its daily rhythm,” the announcement states.

Special mention is made of Skanderbeg Square and surrounding attractions, which — as AJet emphasizes — give visitors the chance to experience the cultural character of the Albanian capital up close.

With this new connection, AJet further strengthens its presence in Southeastern Europe, targeting both leisure travelers and passengers seeking affordable, direct flight options.
