French restaurant owner refuses to serve Muslim women in hijab (video)

A video has emerged purportedly showing two Muslim women being discriminated against in a French restaurant, when the manager of the establishment refused to serve them due to their religious beliefs and the fact that they wearing a traditional hijab.

The incident occurred in a restaurant in the suburb of Tremblay-en-France, when the two Muslim women entered the Le Cenacle restaurant for dinner. After the women sat at a table the head chef came outside and told them to leave, allegedly saying all Muslims were terrorists. During the heated exchange between the owner of the restaurant one of the women can be heard saying ‘We do not want racists to serve us’, to which the restauranteur responds ‘Racists do not kill people’.

The man repeatedly told the women to leave saying he was the boss. The incident prompted French Minister on Female Affairs, Laurence Rossignol to complain in the French cabinet meeting.
