Zach Galifianakis has been popping up all over the place lately; trailers for his new film “Masterminds” are all over TV and movie theaters before its premiere on September 30th, and now his interview with Hillary Clinton for the fake satirical talk show “Between Two Ferns” is spreading all over social media.
Previously on the show, Galifianakis has sat down with high-profile politicians and celebrities including President Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, Justin Bieber, and Charlize Theron.
His interview style on the series, released by “Funny or Die”, is usually purposely disrespectful and irreverent, and his interview with Hillary was no exception. Galifianakis actually aired a short ad for Trump during the interview, and then ended the show by asking Hillary if he could reach her by e-mail (referring to the former Secretary of State’s much-publicized e-mail scandal).
Galifianakis goes on to ask Hillary a bunch of random questions such as, “Are you excited to be the first girl president?”, “As secretary [of state] how many words-per-minute could you type? And how does President Obama like his coffee, like himself, weak?”, “What happens if you become pregnant?”.
Hillary used Galifianakis’ questions about Trump to take a couple of jabs at her opponent. When she is asked if she would move to Canada after a Trump win, Hillary responds that she would stay in the US “to try to prevent [Trump] from destroying the United States”.
