At least 77 people were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in a cafe in Velez-Malaga, Spain on Saturday.
Five people are being treated for serious injuries.
The blast happened at La Bohemia cafe during a festival in the town.
Local newspaper La Opinion de Malaga reported that the chef had raised the alarm moments before the blast, which gave most enough time to escape serious injury, according to BBC News.
Police cars helped transport the injured to hospital because the local ambulance service was overwhelmed with casualties.
Spanish news agency EFE reported that most people suffered cuts and bruises in the blast.
Sky News reported that 20 of the injured had already been discharged from hospital.
According to RT, Mayor Antonio Moreno Ferrer said that it’s believed the explosion was caused by a gas leak.
