A Turkish boy has become a victim of online trolling, after he lost his father in the attack outside an Istanbul stadium on Saturday, Sigma’s correspondent in Turkey reported on Monday.
The boy is pictured shaking President Tayyip Erdogan’s hand during a memorial for the victims of the dual explosions.
Social media users of the ruling AKP party have reposted the image saying that the boy is making an angry face at the President.
Many of the online users, Sigma’s correspondent reported, have said that the boy is showing disrespect to the President and an inimical stance towards Erdogan.
One Twitter user has said that the boy seems to hate the King (a nickname for Erdogan), and that his family should investigated for teaching him such manners.
