Police confirm shooting over personal dispute at French high school in Grasse

Three people were injured according to police sources during a shooting at the Lycee Alexis de Tocqueville school in town of Grasse, France.

A 17-year-old student entered the school armed with a shotgun, one pistol, one revolver and two handgrenades and started shooting.

The assailant has been arrested.

Christian Estrosi, president of the regional council of Provence-Alpes-C?te d’Azur, said the school principal was injured but gave no information on his condition.

A spokesperson for the local council in Grasse said the incident resulted from a personal dispute and was not believed to be terror-related.
