After the devastating tsunami that hit Indonesia, Greece’s foreign ministry expressed it support and solidartiy for the country and its people, particularly for the victims, greekcitytimes.com reports.
“We are deeply saddened by devastating Indonesia tsunami. Our thoughts go out to the victims’ families and loved ones. Our sincere condolences and solidarity to the Indonesian people and its government,” the Greek Foreign Ministry wrote on Twitter.
There are no reports of Greek citizens amongst the victims, nevertheless Greek consular authortities are on stanby.
