Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades on Thursday attended the 5th Holocaust Forum which took place in Jerusalem, following an invitation by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, CNA reports.
Over 40 world leaders and dignitaries attended the Yad Vashem’s 5th World Holocaust Forum which took place at Warsaw Ghetto Square.
An announcement by Cyprus Presidency notes that the President said that it was a really moving event adding that events like these need to take place to remind those who have the same tendencies as the Nazis that they ought to respect the human rights and the human dignity.
