Greek Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Vassilis Kikilias expressed his condolences to the Spanish ambassador in Athens on Wednesday over the deadly floods in southeastern Spain and offered the ministry’s assistance to survivors, ANA reports.
In a statement on the X platform, Kikilias said, “In a communication with Spanish Ambassador to Athens Jorge Domek, I underlined the solidarity and readiness of the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry to send aid that will help and relieve the Spanish people, who are currently facing a destruction of biblical proportions.”
