Gastronomic Festival “The Treasures of the Corinthian Land”

With the iconic Temple of Apollo in the background and under the scent of the summer night, the Xenia Grove in Ancient Corinth is preparing to welcome the 2nd Gastronomic Festival “The Treasures of the Corinthian Land”, which is scheduled to take place on June 14.

The festival, co-organized by the Municipality of Corinth and the Professionals Association of Ancient Corinth (SEAK), aspires to become a permanent institution for the region, showcasing its authentic gastronomy and cultural wealth.

At the festival grounds, visitors will have the opportunity to discover products of the Corinthian land and taste authentic local recipes. From the famous raisins and olive oil to the wines and traditional sweets, local products are the protagonists, highlighting the gastronomic identity of the region.

A special place in the program is occupied by the experiential Live Cooking by renowned chefs, who will present creations inspired by local flavors. Gastronomy, after all, has emerged as a key element of the tourist experience and, as the organizers note, gastronomic festivals are an important lever for the development of thematic tourism.

Within the framework of the actions, the festival will be accompanied by cultural events, collaborations with local organizations and producers, as well as the participation of cultural associations, creating a complex event that promotes Corinth as a gastronomic and cultural destination.

Ancient Corinth: where flavors meet history

The choice of Ancient Corinth for the organization is anything but accidental. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, which uniquely combines historical heritage with natural scenery. The Temple of Apollo, the Acrocorinth, and the Roman statues “narrate” the glorious journey of the city from antiquity to the present.

The gastronomic festival, within this setting, offers visitors a multifaceted experience: culture, flavor,s and atmosphere that marry the past with the present. Corinth, after all, has always been a land of euphoria and trade — characteristics that are now highlighted through its products.
