The Municipality of Monemvasia was honored with a significant distinction, as it was ranked first in Laconia, second in the Peloponnese Region, and 18th in the entire country, according to the official results of the first nationwide evaluation of Municipalities.
The evaluation was carried out through the axiologisi.ypes.gov.gr platform, where citizens from all over the country participated voluntarily, rating the services offered by each Municipality in their daily lives.
The Municipality of Monemvasia stood out in many areas, achieving high positions nationwide:
- 2nd place in School Infrastructure
- 4th place in Childcare and Nursery Infrastructure
- 5th place in Citizen Service Centers (KEP)
In addition, it also distinguished itself in the following categories:
- 10th place in Parking Areas
- 16th place in Cleaning
- 16th place in Building Services
- 18th place in Infrastructure for People with Disabilities (PWDs)
“These results are the result of collective work. They enable us to identify weaknesses but also to strengthen our strengths, with the aim of continuously improving services to our citizens,” said the Mayor of Monemvasia, Iraklis Tricheilis.
