The heart of global bartending beats again in Athens. The Athens Bar Show, the institution that established our country as an international reference point for hospitality, creativity and spirits, returns on November 4 & 5, 2025 at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, celebrating 15 years of innovation, knowledge and people who inspire with their work and passion.
Internationally recognized as a leading platform for education and professional development, the Athens Bar Show has evolved through the contribution of the global community of bartenders, who return to Athens every year to share knowledge, inspire and evolve the industry.
This year’s anniversary event is under the auspices of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), the Municipality of Athens, the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) and New Metropolitan Attica S.A., recognizing the contribution of the Athens Bar Show to the promotion of Greece as an international destination for hospitality, tourism and gastronomy.
For two days, Technopolis will transform into a global center for hospitality and creation, hosting hundreds of exhibitors, dozens of seminars, masterclasses and tasting experiences. The Athens Bar Show brings together the most important professionals in the industry every year, from bartenders and brand ambassadors to entrepreneurs and creators, serving as a meeting point, knowledge exchange and inspiration for the entire international community.
This year, the show takes another step towards a more responsible and sustainable future, aiming for a 100% single-use plastic-free event. By using recyclable and glass glasses and with practices that reduce the environmental footprint, the Athens Bar Show proves that creativity, quality and respect for the environment can coexist in the same glass.
The 15th anniversary of the event kicks off on Monday, November 3rd with the Official Opening Party Athens Bar Show x METAXA in the Athens Center, an evening with a live performance by Nikos Apergis, offering free entry and a METAXA drink for everyone.
This year, the Athens Bar Show chooses to inaugurate the anniversary week with a Greek night, as a warm welcome with a strong local element to the global community of bartenders, creators and professionals who travel to Greece to participate in the event and celebrate with us 15 years of inspiration and hospitality.
The experience culminates on Thursday, November 6th with the International Closing Party, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Athens Bar Show. Technopolis will be transformed into a unique cocktail playground, with 30+ pop-up bars from the world’s top bars, international presences and a festive atmosphere. The music and DJs of the evening are signed by Athens DeeJay, with star DJ Michalis Tsaousopoulos and DJ Kostas Zikos creating the ultimate soundtrack for the finale of the anniversary year, an evening full of rhythm, energy and positive mood.
From November 2 to 6, Athens Bar Week 2025 will elevate Athens to the epicenter of global bar culture, with more than 200 bar events, guest shifts and pop-ups across the city. For five days, the top bars in Greece and abroad will join forces, filling the capital with the most dynamic rhythm of the year, a celebration of fine drinking, creativity and gastronomy that highlights Greece’s place among the world’s top destinations for taste and hospitality.
